Caroline is Here!!

      Well, she's finally here!  Her hair is stunning, just stunning.  And her whole collection is just incredible, but I just chose a couple of my favorite items of her collection to discuss.

      This dress is soooo pretty!  Purple looks so good on her.  I love every design, detail, and color!  I know girls her age had to wear dresses that short, but I still wish her dress would go to the floor.

      My favorite part of the whole outfit is the headband made of braided hair.  It's so cool!  This is definitely what I'm getting for Christmas!:)

      Her parlor set is amazing.  It's so detailed.  I could never afford it, though.:(  It's seems very well made, but $300 is a lot of money!  The window box is my favorite part.

      This coat is so cute!!!  The color is very unique; however, it looks perfect with the grey.

      Reindeer ears!!!!   Love them!  Again, just such a cute outfit!

      I would also enjoy getting this.  The miniature gingerbread house is adorable!  And the sprinkles, candy canes, and other candies are just eaten up with cuteness!

     This dress is so classy and beautiful.  The bodice design is gorgeous!!

     On the American Girl Fan Message Board a member gave a link to person's flickr account.  On that account the person already has the catalog with Caroline in it!  They have good amount of pics, so here's the LINK! 

 
     Also an American Girl's facebook page, they showed this picture(above) of their new winter clothes and accessories!!  Aren't they cute??  The white snow boot outfit is my favorite.  Which do you like?

More New Images of Caroline!:)

     On Something Beautiful they posted these new pictures of Caroline!!  

      She looks so beautiful in this pink dress.  And the boat would be awesome to have.  My gut feeling is that her family is going to own a light house.  It has already been stated she lives near the coast, and a light house would add an interesting addition to her stories.
   

     We also have a great picture of her book cover.  I love that it's all pink!:)  Her hair on the cover looks a little shorter than the doll's hair.

                                         

 

     I love this whole set!!!  Caroline looks incredible in the blue dress.  And she even has a cute widow box!  Can't wait till her release!:)  What's your favorite item from these pictures?

New MAG and Mckenna Items!

     Well, all the new American Girl outfits and accessories are here!

     The True Spirit Outfit is the new My American Girl main outfit(shown above).  I preferred the My American Girl outfit AG already had before.  I can't envision an 8-12 year old wearing this new outfit. 
     Also, the doll wearing the True Spirit outfit is also new.

      The Butterfly Garden Pj's are so pretty and girly.  Love that shade of blue!:)  The sunshine yellow butterflys stand out beautifully against the light blue.

      The Weekend Fun Outfit is my favorite one out of them all!!  It's such a cute fall outfit.  And the little white vest adds the perfect touch!

     The Allergy-Free Lunch is different, but I like it.  If had many food allergies, I would enjoy having a lunch set like this for my doll.

     MEATLOAF!!!!  Love that name. 

      American Girl also has offered dols with hearing aids and dolls without hair.  I think this a great idea !

      I love the neon yellowish leotard in Mckenna's Performance Outfit.  Her hairstyle in this image is unique.  I would love to learn how to do it.

      Seperately from Mckenna's performance outfit is Mckenna's team gear(shown above).  This set comes with a jacket, a bracelet, soft shoes, and a gold medal.

     The movie is out on pre-order now!!!!!!!!!:D  On Mckenna's movie site you can see all new clips and images for the movie.  Are any of you going to pre-order the movie??

New Julie and MAG Items

     Hey, everyone!! On American Girl Fan and on the American Girl Fan Messageboard I saw these two pictures of upcoming AG items.

     The first picture is of Julie and Ivy in new outfits and of a Volkswagen car.  I adore Volkswagen's!  I especially like the color if this one, because sky blue is one of my favorite colors.
     Julie's outfit is alright.  Not my favorite, but not terrible.  Ivy's outfit, I"m sorry, is just not pretty!  I don't like the white jumper at all!

      The middle outfit in this picture is supposedly the new My American Girl outfit.  I think it's really cute!  I love the jacket and skirt. 
     The outfit on the right is so amazingly pretty!!!  I love the print and design!

Craigslist Find!!

      I apologize for the last couple of posts.  I had left out so many words, but I have gone back and edited them.  Now, back to my post, my mom goes on craigslist all the time to find something for AG, and Saturday she did.  We both went to a lady's business where she had a few doll outfits to sell. Guess what we found??  Felicity's retired Summer Dress!:D 

      Here is the cover of one of the AG catalogues with the outfit on it.

      My mom put it on her doll, but she said I could put it on Felicity or Elizabeth soon. :D

      The outfit came with a big straw bonnet, but, unfortunately, the lady didn't have it. (excluding the catalogue cover)Most pictures don't show the lace cap underneath.  In the colonial times, girls wore big straw bonnets to protect their skin from the sun, because they thought the paler you were the prettier you were. Once they were inside, they would take the bonnet off and just wear the lace cap. 
     I really like the lace cap.  The detail on it is extraordinary.  It looks really pretty on Julie.

      I fell in love with this ribbon as soon as I saw it.  I can't wait to put it on Elizabeth.  She looks absolutely breathtaking in pastels.

     The shoes have to be my favorite part of the outfit.  They are so authentic and so cute!  I will post more pictures of it when I put Elizabeth in it!

Birthstone Earings Part 2

     Like the new wallpaper and header???  I now can finally finish the birthstone earrings review.

      These and the party earrings are the prettiest earrings AG has.  They are arranged in order as the months.  I really like the March and April earrings.

       My only compliant is that the little charms(not shown) fall off so easily.  I took my dolls out for a photo shoot yesterday, and I was afraid they would get lost.  Natalie is wearing the February earrings, since it's almost February.

     The weather at my home has been absolutely stunning.  The sun has been shining, the sky has been really blue, and it hasn't been too cold.  I have been busy taking pictures of all my dolls, so look out fot tons pics!:D

AG Birthstone Earings

     For todays review here are the birthstone earings!!  I didn't get time today to take pictures of my doll wearing them, but I will those up tomorrow with a larger review of the earings. All I can say is that there beautiful!:D

Marie-Grace and the Orphans Review

     My friend from Jess' Mix of Doll Pics gave a bookstore gift card, so I bought Marie-Grace and the Orphans and Marie-Grace Makes a Difference. So here's my Marie-Grace and the Orphans review.

     (summary from AG)Marie-Grace can't believe what she finds on her doorstep one rainy night- a baby!  More than anything, Marie-Grace hopes her father will let the little boy stay with them.  But when a slave catcher comes looking for him, Marie-Grace realizes the baby is in terrible danger.  Together, she and her friend Cecile come up with a way to keep the child safe.  Just when Marie-Grace thinks their plan will, work, rumors of a deadly fever begin to swirl through New Orleans.  Soon Marie-Grace wonders of anyone will be safe.

     Overall this was an incredible book!  The story kept moving and it was just perfectly descriptive.  Sometimes books are a little overly descriptive to the point where I lose interest, but this book was again, perfect.  My only flaw was the little white-lies Marie-Grace and her father say.  Marie-Grace's father lies to the slave trader to help the baby; however, it doesn't excuse it.  It's still in the book and sets an example for the readers.  But, other than that, I would totally recommend it.

Praline

      Kaeden from Kute Kacie gave me the oh-so-cute Praline for Christmas! 

       She has soft gray fur, beautiful silver eyes, and a poseable tale.  I found the tale to be sorta of loosely connected to her.

     I'm very happy to have her!  I would highly recommend Praline to anyone who loves the AG pets.  Would be a great buy.  Thank you Kaeden!  Come back tomorrow to see the next AG Christmas gift I review.

The Cozy Sweater Outfit!!

     Every day, I am going to post a review of what AG stuff I got for Chrismtas.  So for my first review, here is the Cozy Sweater Outfit!!

      I absolutely love this! It looks like something any girl would wear. American Girl did extremely well on this outfit, because, I have to say, they do miss sometimes on their clothing.

      The headband is a hot pink elastic band that pulls over your dolls head.  I prefer this type way better than the one Emily Bennet comes with.  Her headband is really stiff and hard to make look right on her.

      The sweater dress is so cute!!!  It's so realistic!  I also really like how the headband is hot pink, the sweater dress is a milder pink, and the boots are a pink-purple color.

      The leggings are kind of a blue-grey color.

      What can I say about these boots?  They are adorable!!  I love the buttons on  the side, the color, and the style, but They are way to snug at the top. You can hardly put them over the leggings!!

They are still totatlly worth it, though.:)  I really tht the bottom was weird. I twas kind of a soft plasticy bottom.

     Overall, it was a really cute outfit, I'm glad I have it. Worth your money to get!:D Stay tuned for my next AG Christmas gift review.

Mckenna is Here!

     Happy New Year!  Mckenna is finally here!!!!!!!!!!!!  Isn't she pretty?  I love her little hamster the comes with her bed!  It's so little.  I don't know if I'm going to get her.  Are any of you wany wanting Mckenna?

     I also really think the Mckenna hairstyle cards are pretty cool!  I will have the pictures of what I got for Christmas up most likely tomorrow.

Both Mckenna's Book Covers!!!:D

      Today I was at one of my local stores and found the American Girl Magazine February 2012 issue.  I thought to myself that they probably had some sorta of picture of Mckenna.  As soon as I opened up look what I found on the back of the cover.

      Ta daaaaa!!!  A big picture of Mckenna and both her book covers!!!!

     Finally a picture of the full book cover! If you want to read the summary go HERE. So her full meet outfit is the blue striped dress with blue leggings and little purple and blue flats.  Her accessories will probably be the gymn bag and other things inside it.

           And here is the book cover for Ready to Fly Mckenna.  The outfit on the cover will definately be one of her outfits.

      Then here is another picture of both her books. 

      In the very back of the magazine is this picture and a description about a new giveaway for Mckenna.  It is called the Strength Finding Quiz.  When you play you are entered in in their giveaway to win a free Mckenna doll and a three book-set.  Three books???  That's very interesting.  Do you think it will be a book about Teagan or Josie?
