Back To School Outfit Ideas for Your Doll Part 1

     Hey, everyone!  How do you like the new header and background?  I have been so tired of the same design, that I just had to change it.
  

      Of course, dolls should have awesome outfits for the fall, right??  I have put together two outfits for my dolls to show you.

      The first one is on Marisol.  It's more of a cutesy, girly look.  I myself would never be brave enough to wear this, but, hey, on a doll it works!

      For her hair I did a simple crown braid(which I will have a tutorial for soon) and tied it with a red hair tie. 
     Her shirt is from Julie's Dog Walking Outfit.  For this style I think any color shirt would work if your doll has tights as colorful as Marisol.  You don't want the top and botton to be loud.:)

     Marisol is wearing the store exclusive Vacation shorts, Lindsey's(GOTY 2001) tights, and Marisol's shoes.  It's a little loud, but if your doll still loves shorts in the fall this might be a cute idea to try.

     And her backpack is from the School Backpack Set for Dolls from American Girl.

Entering Wonderland Photo Shoot

     Hello, everyone!  I hope you are all having a wonderful Easter break.  Tuesday, my mom and I went to a graveyard.  Now don't think "Ooh, graveyard!"  It's not like that at all.  It's this gorgeous graveyard with all different unique and pretty  flowers.  Every spring, my mom and I go and take pictures.  Unfortunately, by the time we got there this year, all the flowers had already bloomed and wilted.  It wasn't as pretty as I had hoped it would be, but we took alot of great pictures with green trees and leaves in them!  Enjoy!

     It was quite the Alice in Wonderlandish place, so I had to take my mom's doll, Kailey, dressed as Alice.  This graveyard reminded me of the scene in the 2010 Alice in Wonderland when Alice is following the white rabbit.

     My favorite picture is the one above.  I loved how bright this flower is!

Happy Good Friday!

      Happy Good Friday!  For those of you who don't know, Good Friday is the day Jesus died on the cross.  I am so thankful that He died for us!:D

      The weather outdside, has been incredible, so I took Elizabeth outside for the very first time for a small photo shoot.  This is the first and probably the only time you will see Elizabeth outside for a photoshoot.  I am very funny with my dolls.  The only ones I feel safe to take out are Natalie, Marisol, and my mom's dolls.

     I really like this picture of Elizabeth.  The lighting is just perfect.

      I do like this one, but I feel it makes her face a little chubby.  Your thoughts?

      On Palm Sunday, I went outside and took some nature pictures.  The one above, is a picture of a new branch growing on our birch trees.

     I love this one!! I can't believe how clear the dandelion is! 

      And then, is my little Streaky.  she was begging to go outside today, so I took her out for some awesome pictures

     I love her so much!  She is, most of the time, a sweet cat with an attitude which makes her fun.

The Lace Doll Gloves!

     Hey, all!  If you didn't know, I was one of the winners from the lace doll gloves giveaway on the American Girl Fan website!!  I chose the white lace gloves, and I want to show you all some pictures.

      (I couldn't get this top picture to work)I just received them today.  I love how Liz sends you a lovely card with your package.  It's so sweet and thoughtful.

      Aren't these absolutely gorgeous?  The lace is so feminine and delicate.  LOVE IT!

      When I was trying to find the right outfit that would match the gloves, I thought of my Alice in Wonderland Halloween costume.  It goes together perfectly!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

     Top of the morning to you!  Happy Saint Patrick's Day!:D  It's sad how so many people don't realize who St. Patrick really was.  He was such a Godly man. 

     The reason the shamrock is a part of St. Patrick's Day is that he used to show the Holy Trinity(God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Son).

     I hope you all had a day full green.  I always look forward to St. Patrick's Day, because Celtic Woman always performs on a talk show.  I of course have to watch it!
