Review of the Dressy Watch From the AG Store

One of the items I purchased at the American Girl Store was the Dressy Watch.  It was such a worth-it buy!  The little plastic case it comes in was so cute.  Just the right size for the watch.

I preferred this watch over the others, because this was the most realistic.  I mean look at that detail in the above picture!  The design on it was perfect, no flaw.  I loved the stars and the swirly numbers.

And here is another shot of the watch.

Amazingly, it won't fall off when you put it on the dolls wrist.  It has the clasp exactly like a person's watch would have.  Like I said, it's so detailed!

I would totally recommend this AG item to anyone!  You won't regret it!

Caroline is Here!!

Well, she's finally here!  Her hair is stunning, just stunning.  And her whole collection is just incredible, but I just chose a couple of my favorite items of her collection to discuss.
This dress is soooo pretty!  Purple looks so good on her.  I love every design, detail, and color!  I know girls her age had to wear dresses that short, but I still wish her dress would go to the floor.
My favorite part of the whole outfit is the headband made of braided hair.  It's so cool!  This is definitely what I'm getting for Christmas!:)
Her parlor set is amazing.  It's so detailed.  I could never afford it, though.:(  It's seems very well made, but $300 is a lot of money!  The window box is my favorite part.
This coat is so cute!!!  The color is very unique; however, it looks perfect with the grey.
Reindeer ears!!!!   Love them!  Again, just such a cute outfit!
I would also enjoy getting this.  The miniature gingerbread house is adorable!  And the sprinkles, candy canes, and other candies are just eaten up with cuteness!
This dress is so classy and beautiful.  The bodice design is gorgeous!!

Also, stay tuned for an interview with Kathleen Ernst, author of Caroline Abbott's book series.

American Girl Store Part 2

For part 2 of my trip to the American Girl store posts, I am going to show you a lot of the close-ups of the My American Girl displays.

Here are the store exclusives.  They had a bathing suit set which was so adorable!  Unfortunately I didn't buy it.:(
The exclusive pajamas were so pretty!!
I really like the mittens, scarves, and beret, but with the pink outfit, it was a little too loud.
Can you believe that the doll storage cabinet was sold out at the store??  I don't think I could ever spend that much money on a cabinet!!
This outfit looked so cute on this doll!!!  I love the cheerleading outfit, but  I don't care for the Inner Star U symbol on it.  It's not as real as American Girl could make it.
I LOVE this tutu!  The whole outfit is so feminine and pretty.
This doll was a bit of a surprise when seen in person.  On line and in the catalogs, she has light blond hair; however, in person her hair almost is a dirty blond.  Don't get me wrong, she still is a beautiful doll, but I wish her hair would have been lighter.
The My American Girl doll display one and...............................
 display two.
The colors are absolutely perfect in the Butterfly Pajamas outfit!
Here is some of the hair and under garment stuff they had for the dolls.
I just liked this picture of this doll, so I thought I'd put it on here.  This is at the doll hair salon.
And here is all the camping outfits and accessories.

     More to come soon!!

New MAG and Mckenna Items!

Well, all the new American Girl outfits and accessories are here!
The True Spirit Outfit is the new My American Girl main outfit(shown above).  I preferred the My American Girl outfit AG already had before.  I can't envision an 8-12 year old wearing this new outfit.
Also, the doll wearing the True Spirit outfit is also new.
The Butterfly Garden Pj's are so pretty and girly.  Love that shade of blue!:)  The sunshine yellow butterflys stand out beautifully against the light blue.
The Weekend Fun Outfit is my favorite one out of them all!!  It's such a cute fall outfit.  And the little white vest adds the perfect touch!
The Allergy-Free Lunch is different, but I like it.  If had many food allergies, I would enjoy having a lunch set like this for my doll.

     MEATLOAF!!!!  Love that name.

American Girl also has offered dols with hearing aids and dolls without hair.  I think this a great idea !

I love the neon yellowish leotard in Mckenna's Performance Outfit.  Her hairstyle in this image is unique.  I would love to learn how to do it.
Seperately from Mckenna's performance outfit is Mckenna's team gear(shown above).  This set comes with a jacket, a bracelet, soft shoes, and a gold medal.
The movie is out on pre-order now!!!!!!!!!:D  On Mckenna's movie site you can see all new clips and images for the movie.  Are any of you going to pre-order the movie??
