Meet Molly!

Well, my mom always checks on Craigslist for cheap American Girl dolls.  She loves to get old AG's and bring them back to their original beauty.  This week, she found a lady selling Molly.  She bought Molly as her birthday present.  Now I have a few images of her I can't wait to show you!
On her neck she has Pleasant Company written.  We talked to the lady and did a little research and discovered that she, most likely, is a 1980's or 1990's Molly.  She would be worth so much more if it weren't for her hair.:(
As you can see a bit of her bangs have been cut.:(  It's not that noticeable if you look at her from the front.
We didn't see this until we already bought her, but she has the beginnings of Silver Eye, if I'm not mistaken.  There might be a new head for this doll in the near future.:)
Her hair has been cut a good bit.:(  We also didn't see this until we had already bought her.:(  The hair is still manageable and will be fun to doctor up!:)
Molly's side has been slit and sewn on terribly.  Fortunately, my mom can sew quite well, so this will be fixed easily.
Her finger nails have been painted, and she has a pink stain on her wrist.  Those both will be fixable.
Molly's joints are barely hanging on!:)  My mom might want to remove all her joints and re-do  them.
Whoever owned this doll was able to paint finger nails and toe nails very well!!  But the polish will definately be removed.

This doll will be quite fun to work with!  I will post pictures of the process of restoring her .
