It was not like any ordinary book, however. It's front and back was ruby red with gold designs from top to bottom. The book was held closed by a small golden clasp. It smelled old as if it was made five hundred years ago. I tugged and pulled finally came to the point, that I could not open this. I sat on the porch depressed, until I thought of something.
"What if this book could be opened by a locket or something?" I thought excitedly. I unlocked the house and quickly rumaged thru my jewlery in my room. Suddenly, I found a small necklace with a key that matched the design of the little book exactly. I grabbed it, got the book, and sat our comfy widow box inside. I slowly opened only to find it was a journal. Only one page was written on:
April 18th, 1624
Whoever gets book, please take to the rightful heir in family.

I sat back stunned.
"Wow, wait till mom sees this! But, what is there a large something of??? Hidden with many what??"
I sat there and thought for the longest time, until I didn't realize I started driftting off. I then fell asleep.
