How to do Kirsten's Hair.

Hi all! Finally I can get this on here! I've been trying to get these pictures on, and now I can!! So here's how to do Kirsten's Hair!

Here's Kirsten on the right of the picture. This shows her hair before I fixed it. This actually isn't my doll. It's my friend's doll who lives accross the street.

1. Bandage the eyes.
The reason why you bandage her eyes is because you don't want water in them when you sprits or wash her hair, because they will rust. I've decided(just now) to call this the cotton stick. You get cotton balls and put them over her eyes. Then you put tape over the eyes in like a criss cross manner. Instead of doing her eyes in the cotton stick you could just put a towl over her eyes. The cotton stick is best for when washing her hair.

2. Sprits the hair.
No matter if your just brushing the hair or doing a hard hair style you always need to sprits it. If you don't have a sprits bottle get a cup of water, dip your fingers in it and finger your wet fingers thru the doll's hair. Make sure when your doing it though you keep dipping your fingers in the water so they'll stay pretty moist.

3.Braiding it.
When you style Kirsten's hair you start off with two regular braids. As in the picture.

4. How to braid.
When you braid you want to part the hair in half. Then you get one side and split it in three even pieces. After you have done that you take the piece from the far left and fold it over the middle one and the one on the far right over the new middle piece, and so on and so on until you get down to a little bit of hair and then hair band it at the end.

Here's just another picture on what it looks like. Once you get the hang of it, it'll come very easy to you.

5. Pocketing.
After you have made two braids( one on each side)it's time to start pocketing. How do you pocket, you ask??? Well' to begin with look at the picture above. You see you are suppost to put your index finger in the hair above the braid and sort-of loosen it.

6. Putting the hair in.
Once you have made your pockets(your suppost to do them on both sides) you grab the end of the hair and push it thru the pocket until it'll stay. If it ever comes loose just push it back in until you think it's right.

7. Putting the ribbon in.
Kirsten always wears ribbons in her hair so make sure you do that. The above picture is the finished doll! I hope this has helped you! If there's another doll hair style you want me to do please comment me it, or if you have questions please comment me it! Next time maybe I'll do Julie's hair!

Thanks!!
*Liddy*
